my job at vrs

VRS stands for Video Relay Services.  It is an absolutely interesting and crazy job.  It is a great techonolgy that has leveled the playing field for deaf individuals.  This allows deaf indviduals to talk to the doctor make appts. pay bills, order pizza, the works.  It also lets them get the annoying telemarketers, the debt collectors, the polictians and the annoying please choose from the menu calls too.  It is always interesting you get to hear all sorts of accents, and all sorts of people pop up on the video screen, one minute you are talking to grandma and the next a gangster.  I think I enjoy the variety of the different calls. and just the variety of my job in general.  Well just a comment about my work, more later.

I have gotten out of the habit

I have really gotten out of the habit of blogging and need to get back in the habit.  I really enjoy picking up my printed blogs from before and seeing what it was like and I think it will be nice for the generations that come after me.

so what has been happening lately, well graduation is a big part of it.... my baby graduating cant believe whenever we started this crazy journey cause she couldnt read who knew we would end up here.  It has been great frustrating joyful crazy journey and I wouldnt trade anything for it.  For our family it enriched our relationships broadened our individual lives.  It has it ups and downs like everything.  Now I see this chapter close and well it will be a different change for sure.  I have been in transition this year, working more and doing more career stuff.  It is interesting to see how different chapter of live happen to us all.

We have been very busy with projects getting ready the property to host the party.  The girls are both going to prom, Missy is going with Spencer and Meg has been asked by her friend Matt.  Both of them are exicitied about it.  Been busy doing last minute photo shoots and all sorts of other things around this time of year.  I am taking time off the same week here at the end of April as Dave is so that we can do final prep and just rest.  Anyway looking forward to that.  Well better go for now.

Soon my life will change, Meg will be graduated and they will then be responsible for their own education.  So that leaves me to my career, it will start back up with more ernest.  It has already this year, I might like to get a full time job, but for now these two part time places, keep me very busy but flexible.  The house has suffered a little bit with the craziness but all in all not too bad.

These last two weeks have been projects galore, we have made three beds for plants and rerocked the drive.  It was needed badly, because it was getting messy in our driveway.  I am ready to get started on planting but holding off for a short time.  I am going to extend my garden and plant more and I am exicited about that.

Missy has just a little more to go in this semsmter and then working full time over the summer and Meggan is in Nashville right now at Super Nationals prob. having a grand ole time.  Well back to work.

Easter

I had a great Easter, we had a nice and relaxing time, except for Meg being sick.  We had a great lunch and had our pictures taken just Dave and I.  It was nice to not have to go anywhere and do anything we just hung out and had a good time.  Things are changing now due to the maternity leave winding down and so I will go back to working more at Sorenson.  Well that is all for now.
