i fell

Cleaned like a mad woman yesterday, got it all pretty good, mopped, dusted the works, well it was coming up on 10 and I had to get MDK to get her last shot before Guatemela, I put on my crocs, hit a wet spot on the kitchen floor and down I went, I thought I had broke something but luckly I didnt.  However I am quite stiff and sore.  I think I did pretty well considering that it looked something like a cartoon where the hit the wet spot and splat.  It must have been quite the sight as the family was really worried about me.  I threw my whole body out of whack because even my back and shoulder hurt.

We did alot of homeschooling yesterday.  We are trying to hit the halfway mark in school at Christmas, and with MDK gone for a week, it shall be fun.  Really most subjects are right on the mark but there is always the one.  Dave is doing alot of Math with MDK as they do Algebra 2 when he is available.  Dave has to get one more board and then the door to the greenhouse will go on.  The roofer should be coming tommorow so that should be done this week.  Have a job this afternoon one Thursday and all day on Friday.  Going to the art museum tommorow.  Well better get going for now.

i finally got back on

It has been a long time since I posted, due to the fact that I am old and my brain forgot my password.  Had to reset everything.  Thanksgiving was good, today I woke up at 5 and cleaned like a crazy woman, I am knee deep in school work and Dave is shouldering the math for me today.  MLK has done her last minute miracle math and today she is driving her Dad nuts instead of me.  He always gets upset when MLK and I are at each other about this, but it looks like he is pulling out his hair.  I just took MDK to get her last Hep. A shot.  Later we take some paperwork to the church and possibly go to the library.  MDK has some catch up to do on her Bible doctrines, because she lost her book.  MLK went through this same phase at the same age.  It is a good thing that I dont have more children!

I slipped and fell in the kitchen totally folded one leg up underneath me, I thought it might have been broke, heard something snap or pop, I think it was my knee, so hopefully it will be okay taking it easy on it, the whole left side hurts and keeping the advil a coming.

Well better get back to the daughters.  Husband home on vacation all week!  Yeah

senior year

We went to a senior graduation meeting last night, and it went pretty well, however there are so many strong personalities in the room so it makes it fun.  We have fourteen (this includes MLK) graduating together this year.  So we had to decide on many different things, there is one girl that kinda rubs my fur the wrong way but all the rest are really sweet.  Four boys and the rest are girls.  So we have to have invitations cape and gown order in by December 15.  MLK is a little nervous about graduating, I think that is because life will change and that girl hates change.  When she was little she cried when you moved the furniture, that should have been a sign for me.

Done alot of interpreting lately, so feeling a little weary, trying to keep on top of everything is always always a challange.  I so enjoy life, but sometimes it just wears you out.  We worked on the green house and we have everything but the door down.  We converted the shed into a green house now I must learn about how to use it.  I hope that will be fun.

Well better go going to be a long day.

doggone tired

Wow I just cant believe how tired I am of late, it has been crazy how tired I am like I can't seem to get enough.  I am going to bed and getting like 12 hours of sleep and then needing to take a nap, Dave says he is giving me till Friday and then I am going to the doctor.  It has been odd for me, I quess from maybe this cold but this is really quite wierd.

Dave was suppose to have a quick and easy 4-5 hour Monday and I think he is working on 7-8 hours already.  Oh well, more money in the bank.  His health other than the brochnitis has been better his MS sympthms are much better.  He has a clearer and sharper time of it, and his nerve pain has subsided for now.  He is still having numbness and difficult swallowing and a few odds and ends like that but it is what we call normal for him.

I need to deep clean and the house and hoping I have the energy to do so.  However right now trying to get everybody on the right track with schoolwork to begin with.  Well better get back to the grind.

havent posted in awhile

sorry i havent posted in awhile it has been one long nasty cold at our house, we have all just felt completly drained, the house amazingly thanks to our girls is stayed mostly decent.  I have about four loads of laundry due to MDK cleaning her room.  MDK has is debating Bible quiz this morning as she has felt rotten for the last few days.  I think she should go but will let her make her own decision on it as I know how worn out this cold makes you feel.  I went to bed at 8:30 last night and slept clear through till 6 this morning. 

MLK got her mid term grade for her English class and it was a C, she completly forgot 2 or 3 online English quizzes so that is what has brought it down.  I am having a hard time with letting go and letting her fall flat on her face if need be.  She does great work when she remembers it,  the girl is so flightly that way.  She always saying I forgot I forgot, and then when she does poorly she internalizes it as a lack of ability.  It is not a lack of ability it is a lack of focus and paying attention to the details.  Wow this makes me crazy.  She has got 100 percents on three of the big time papers she wrote alot of hard work but she has allowed 3 10 minute online quizzes to screw up her score.  I am letting this college class be totally hers, but the mom in me wants to be all over it.  We are upping the score next semster with three classes, she has got to fiqure it out to be successful in college.  Well better go for now.
