snow instead of spring

I need spring to come and soon I like the moisture but need some sunshine... it would do my spirits good to see sunshine and green grass.  I am starting to wind down with my maternity leave getting to the end of it.  Yeah!  I have loved it but will be glad to have to not chase my tail quite so much.  Tried to sew this evening but my sewing machine is acting up not sure what is wrong with it.  So I will try to knit and get caught up on it.  Well better go.

catching up on what is going on

Well I haven't been on here for a while cause I keep forgetting my password, I think getting old is for the birds!!!!  Yesterday I went shopping with my good friend Tina to Jamesport it was a relaxing day with not too many people out and about and the pecan pie I had for lunch was to die for, it was sooooo gooood.  We went for her birthday, I helped her haggle a price for a really nice table.  She really enjoyed the day and so did I. 

The school year is coming to a close pretty quick, it is winding down now we just need to get Meggan to finish her chemistry, she has a bad case of senioritis.  She has been working a lot of hours at McDonalds and been saving her money up.  She goes to a chess tourney today, she had one two weeks ago and in two weeks she takes off for chess nationals.  She is enjoying this a lot, and then we have prom.  She is gearing up for that also.  It is a lot of fun seeing her enjoy her last year.  We also got her a computer for graduation so that was nice.  She got a small camera for her birthday so I am done shopping and glad about that.

Missy just got off spring break and enjoyed doing nothing for a week, now she is back to the swing of things, and she is doing well, she is looking forward to being done, she has been writing a book for fun, one of the things she did over the spring break, I read it not a bad start, she has like 100 pages already.  She will have to do a lot of revisions, she also got one of her poems published in the canvas magazine on campus so she was excited about that also. She is a little tired of so many reports, prob wont take four classes of English all at the same time again.  She too will be going to prom as Spencer's date. 

Dave is holding his own, Steve is down for the weekend which is always a good thing for both of them, they enjoy doing stuff together . 

The griffin fundraiser did well and they got over 11,000 dollars raised, so that was really awesome for them.  Well better get off here more later.

ugh I am getting old, I havent gotten on here because I forgot my password and I hate that I do that, and well on the list of things to do this falls down a ways.... esp. if I try and cant get in.  Life has been rolling along very busy with work right now about half way through the maternity leave.  It has been interesting getting back into the swing of things as far as workweek stuff, I still feel like I am stradling the fence finishing off Megs senior year.  She got accepted to the college, and her credits transfered, she has to put down a deposit for her housing and a few other things and then she is off and rolling she has a lot of activites between now and her graduation day.  I am looking forward to enjoying each and everyone but also getting them accomplished is a little daunting. 

Missy is on spring break and is writing a big old story and taking it easy.  We are all doing well gonna settle in now and watch some mindless tv.  Write more later.
